Dates

Starfish has arrival dates every month. All our volunteers arrive on the first Friday of the month so you’ll have the weekend to relax before starting your placement on the following Monday.

Here is a list of 2008’s arrival dates* :

January 4^th	May 2^nd	September 5^th
February 1^st	June 6^th	October 3^nd
March 7^st	July 4^th	November 7^th
April 4^th	August 1^st	December 5^th

Please note not all of our ventures are available every month so please check the fact file of your chosen venture or send us an email.

*Special arrival dates can be arranged for groups, please email or call with your requirements.

Prices

Here are the costs* of becoming a Starfish volunteer :

Deposit and Starfish Membership			£300
2 weeks	£400	8 weeks	£900
4 weeks	£600	10 weeks	£1000
6 weeks	£750	12 weeks	£1100

All of our volunteer’s fees go a long away. Along with ensuring your receive the best support before and during your time in Thailand your fee allows Starfish to meet its annual investment aims. Please see investment plans in our About Us section.

Starfish members can volunteers in the future for just the weekly cost.

For volunteers wishing to combine placements just simply add our deposit and membership fee with the weekly costs.

Care

Volunteer Internship Programs
Our volunteers assist in child care
clinics, helping with daily routines
and caring for unwanted, orphaned
or needy children. We also welcome
medical and nursing students and
professionals to work in healthcare settings. Our clinical placements are ideal for elective work placements or volunteer internship too.

Develop

Volunteer Programs Thailand
Starfish Ventures has helped build
and develop schools and homes in
poor areas with the help of
volunteers. We need your help to
continue this work and make a
visible difference to the community, school or family. Whether or not you have building or DIY experience, you’ll have the time of your life and make a positive contribution to the lives of others.

Teach

Volunteer Teaching Programs
Learning English is essential for
Thai children, a competence in both
written and spoken English opens
so many more doors later in life.
As a volunteer teacher, you’ll be
equipping these young people of the future with the skills they need to be successful. We also run teach and travel ventures specifically for qualified teachers over the summer holidays.
