Volunteer Work Programs - Dog Rescue
Calling all animal lovers: Phuket’s Dog Rescue Centre needs your help.This canine care centre is run by an English man John and is home for some 400 stray dogs, all of whom are in need of new, loving owners. The animals are well looked after but your help is needed with the day-to-day care of the dogs and to assist with fundraising so as to keep the Dog Rescue Centre fully active.

In the centre volunteers clean water bowls & pens; refill water bowls; maintain the pens when they become run down, (don’t worry: only very basic DIY skills are required!); bathe and de-tick the dogs; administer medication and vaccinations and take them to the vet when required.

Volunteer Travel and Fun
Besides helping ensure the dogs are healthy and their environment hygienic, volunteers also spend time playing with the dogs, taking them for walks and teaching them basic pet training. A dog which is able to understand simple commands is more easily adopted.

During your free time you’ll be able to explore Phuket and neighbouring islands. This is a Venture for a true animal lover who loves sun, sea and sand!
